ok i was on this other board(i wont give the name), and I was talking about how I felt about something conserning the board. The person that it was based towards got all mad at me about this stupid little thing. I just think the boards(well that one) have gotten way to sensitive! They take it WAY 2 personal. I thought that some boards were for saying what you felt. I didnt think It was that big a deal, but to the person, I guess it was. I just wish they wouldnt be that way; it happens all the time. Is this board like that too??

don't say anything mean geered towards one person.. especially if they're a mod ;) just don't say anything you wouldn't want someone else to say to/about you, and if someone gives you a hint that you hurt their feelings [whether it was an accident or not], just apologize and don't get all defensive. there was this one person *cough*omarionchick*cough* who decided to start a rant thread up about how everyone is being mean to them by asking them to explain their questions more. i mean.. come on! and then when people replied to their post [most of the replies were nice] she tells them to "shut up" and says "you just don't understand".

and i haven't seen her since :lol: so.. well, that was sort of random. but.. don't be snappy or anything like that person. because people will get mad, and if enough people get mad.. well, i'll let you guess what may happen :buckt: just be nice and use constructive criticism. i can't say anyone is overly sensitive, just be considerate. :)

everyone on this board seems pretty easygoing. Ya I just stated how I felt, but after the fact of the persons posts I said Im sorry 2 them & that I didnt know that it would hurt their feelings. I said I was just writing what I felt and that I was sorry. The person still wrote things that I didnt really take offense 2, but I guess the person wanted me 2. I dunno, it seems like the people here are easier to talk 2 without them taking major offence. Or if they do, they will kindly state it and not go overboard.

Overall, I really like this board & yes, in the future I will always stop & think before posting :)

Ah, I got yelled at once for speaking my mind on a board...I didn't criticize anyone, but apparently I over exaggerated the title of my post and that didn't sit too well with some people, LOL. I'm such a bad person :angel:.

Well I think sometimes people take a post the wrong way. Maybe the way you worded your sentence maybe the person feel defensive. It happens. And sometimes people feel they are being attacked even if they are not. :)
