does ne1 know how to make the swirl effect or are there some tutorials out there on how to make really cool image effects or bg effects for graphics to look really cool? thankies :rolleyes:

i use paint shop pro 8

well, i'm not sure what you mean [an example would help :)] but there is one tool in particular that comes to mind:

k, open up your image [duh :stickout:]
go to view > toolbars > make sure "tools" is selected.
then, use the tool that is in the VERY middle [8 from each side]
it has cool features that you can mess around with. click on the little arrow to see them all.. select the size of the brush you've selected, the opacity, etc. and then yeah, just have fun ;)
