i have been trying out different ftp programmes. smart ftp is good but it crashes always when running with outlook.

the others are all about the same - batch ftp is good too.

i used to use terrapin, which i found great, as it has an option to only upload files which have been changed since last uploading. no other ftp programmes have this option as far as i can see - it's either, overwrite or skip, regardless of whether the file is the same.

the only problem with that is the terrapin is only free for a month.

so my question is this: are there any free ftp programs that only upload files which are newer than the one currently on the server?

I use SmartFtp and it works great, it overwrites older files of the same name. I use Outlook Express and never had that problem with SmartFtp. I have found SmartFtp works better right after the computer is restarted though and I even have 320 MB of RAM.
