Let's start from the top...

I am trying to put music into my shop. I know how to code the music in when a song is provided somewhere on the web...but I'm not sure where I can host songs myself (especially since most don't appreciate direct linking).

Does anyone know of any webproviders that let you upload this type of file? (I'd like to go for free, but that probably is wishful thinking...) :music:

If you have aol, that's how I did it with mine. All I did was goto keyword: My FTP Space and I uploaded the sound that I wanted into my shop and copy and pasted the url in to the embedding code and it worked, but other then that I don't know of any servers that would work, you could try www.photobucket.com I know it's a image site, but they might be able to upload music files on there too, it's worth a try. To put music in your shop really depends on the type of music. For example, I can put midi music in my shop by uploading it to my Angelfire account because my Angelfire account allows me to upload midi. However, I can't upload mp3 music to my Angelfire because it won't allow me to upload Mp3's. So, if you want to have midi music play in your shop, then I recomend Angelfire.

yes it should work perfectly in a guild too. I upload my midi files on angelfire too for my guild and it works great. :)

I put the code in my shop and neopets says "invalid tag" in my shop and shows the code...


but it works still...did neopets change something?
