ok i seen some sites and they have these pictures and they look like all faded and stuff but when u point ur mouse to it, it suddenly changes into a normal looking pictures.

can i somehow make a picture be faded (faded as in dark shadowy looking) and when i point my mouse to the picture would change from being shaded into my regular image. is this possible with a code? if so can someone please give me the code?
