My house wasn't that far away from a tornado...

I remember the first time I was in 1. Our family and I were watching 101 Dalmations (with real people) and way before it started, we noticed some twister warnings. Later, during the night, our dog Pepe was barking towards our patio door and we thought it was because of the movie. A few moments later... WHIRRRRRRRR!!!! I dropped my spoon (I was eating some froot loops) and we headed to our hallway. A few hours later everything was O.K. and went to sleep. That was the scariest night of my life.

Yeha I partially slept through my first and only, uh i guess maybe 10 miles away. Seems far, but we were getting horrible wind and rain and the town 'twas is has the nuclear power plant in it eek.

It was midnight when my mom got home from work, and she was giving a girl directions. It suddenly got bright as day with green skies. she got inside, and I woke up in the basement with her listening to the news.

Well, we had one form directly over our house once. We had a very long, rectangular house. And we (Mum, sisters, and I) were all down at one end of the house and all was calm outside our patio window. Then, all the sudden the wind picked up and the pressure dropped. So my mum and I went down to the other end of the house and went outside and looked at the sky and saw the clouds starting to swirl above our house. We were right on the edge of a huge wall-cloud. So we run inside to the bathroom or whatever, periodically checking outside. Thankfully it didn't hit us, but the tornado touched down only a mile away.
