how can i save an image as something other than a bitmap?? whenever i save an animated one as a bitmap and then i go to my image editor and change it, its no longer animated... please help!!

When you save it just select .gif from the drop down box...if the option to save as something else isnt there its probably because your temp files folder is full, go to tools > internet options > then delete cookies and delete files etc

If you are using IE for a browser and find that any image you try to save only appears as bitmap for saving, one of the "fixes" is to :
clear your temp files and cache files
restart computer
now try to save images and it should be right.

thanks but i figured it out... when ever i went to save it and it only had bitmap from the drop down menu, in the above box where you type the filename, i typed blah.GIF and it worked it didnt save as a bitmap so ifigured ti out but thanks yall anyways.
