[FONT=verdana]I just got a new FTP account and I have done all of my information (name, email, password, username, and server type) and I can connect o.k. but for some reason it won't let me upload my files to my host...
It always says:

"Error 553: Anonymous users may not overwrite existing files"

the whole frustrating thing is, I haven't uploaded anything to have it overwrite anything. I even tried putting my name instead of 'Anonymous' and that wouldn't even let me log on. Please Help! Thanks[FONT]

You have to login with a username and password and not anonamous to be able to upload probably.
