I've been in situations where people post diffrent things on forums or sites to show others, and some are able to see it but others aren't. Why is this? For instance, a friend of mine made her very first blinkie. She uploaded it at boomspeed.com (http://boomspeed.com) and posted it on a forum to show others. However. some had replies like "Wow, that's great! Especially for your first blinkie", while others had replies like "Ooh man! I can't see it!" How can I ensure that my graphics and web page shows up as desired? How can I ensure that my page loads quickly for others? I once gave an url to a member of this forum to show them something for help. The page loads quickly for me, but the member I showed said "That page loads REALLY SLOW! I feel sorry for their visitors!" I want to ensure that people don't run into the same problems on my site.

Thanks in advance

P.S.
All tips, suggestions, criticism, and comments are welcome.

Well, the most absolute way to view an image on a forum is to upload it onto the forum's server. So if the forum's down, the image won't show up anyhow.

A site will never be fast for everyone. Keep the images small in KB size and easy on the javascripts. Have a few people test it out, get friends on different internet speeds. And try to get a few overseas friends to view it as well. I don't really have any other tips.
