what are meta tags? how do i make one or whatever?

Meta-tags is usually used for putting their sites in search engines like google.com

A meta-tag is used for other stuff too though.

i got <META NAME="keywords" content="html tutorial,html,web page, free guest books, free counters, kids,children,resources,design,home page,html help">
where does that html go on the page? between what? sorry im a newbie

It tells you on the page that was posted...


You put these tags in between the </title> and </head> tags.
