I have WinXP HE and I have Winzip 8.1 SR-1 installed. My problem is that when I go to a site that goes to a "download" page (no link that you can right-click) the file starts to automatically download into a temp folder instead of prompting me to open or save. And since the page is "calling" the file or whatever, I can't right-click the link because there is no link. I don't know if this is a problem with my browser (IE 6) or Winzip. Or could it be a "feature" or protection of the website where you can't save the file in zip form?

Well before you go to that page i'm pretty sure you had to click a link. Well don't click that link with left, but right click on it and then choose "save target as.." (i don't know if i translate it right) that could be working
since the download automatically starts i guess that the url leads to the real file.
I hope it helped. I'm sorry if not. If this didn't helped you out could you please give us a subscription of what kind of link you click (the text that the link has) becaues that might help us a bit
Love,
Mirna

For example, when I try to download from http://www.download.com (a file where I have the problem: http://download.com.com/3000-2317-2064601.html , the download "link" is there). It downloads a zip file automatically... no prompt or anything. And no link that I can right click and save (it saves an html page instead).
