Hello,
What would be the best type of file to save a graphic from Photoshop? I have an image, but when i save it as a jpg or png, the colours change slightly which I dont want. Is there any way to stop the colours changing at all?
Thanks .

not really, when you want (for example) to have the same colour for your background take a screenshot of your preview in your browser and use the dropper to pick the right colour.
have you also tried saving as high quality jpg? i know png allways has this kinda slighty difference, but really not much... only noticable at the background (header overlapping background image)

Thanks,
I tried printing the screen, and editing it from there, but as i have a white background in Photoshop (hex or whatever = 255) when I save it, it changes to 253 and turns to a very light grey colour. And when I saved it as a jpg with compression level 1, I still get that jpeg-y look to it.

that's very weird...since i have never seen anything that changes white..
What do you do to save it? do you use the optimizer?

I normally just print the screen, paste in in PSP and save it that way. I've never tried the optimizer. I'll try that to see if it makes any difference.
