Geez.... has anyone ever got on the john early in the morning? You get out of your nice bed and out of the warm blanket only to lay your feet upon the cold tiles and and land your buttocks on the frozen toilet seat. Err... i hate the mornings...

I know people who do it at my school, but I think most of them only get up at 5:30 to do their hair or something.

It's terrible to have to go early at a summer camp if you're sleeping in a cabin. You're lying there cozy in your nice warm sleeping bag, when you realize you have to go to the bathroom. Upset at this discovery, you wake up the person below you (we can't go to bathrooms by ourselves at my camp, go figure). Person Below You (or PBY for short) now hates you for waking you up from their dream of sleeping indoors. PBY also hates you for spending so long in the bathroom (even if it's only 1 minute) and also hates you more when you wash your hands.

I know that it's different to other people, but that's how it normally is for me. We have to have "buddies" to go to the bathroom with, and I always have this bad feeling that everyone hates me because I have to go to the bathroom.

I get up at 5:30; my bus ride is an hour long. :(

I don't like getting up in the middle of the night, but I really hate waking up a few minutes before I'm supposed to. Or just waking up (for the day) in general. You have to get out of your warm bed, and you can't get back in. So annoying.

i try to wake up as LATE as possible until i realllly need to get out of bed and go to school haha but yeah i get ready pretty quickly too so thats def. a plus =p

I've never really thought about our toilet seat being cold... Maybe its 'cos we have this fuzzy cover on the lid and we always have the lid down... hmm... The worst is the bathrooms and campgrounds. There's no lights. They don't flush. There's no sink. You're lucky if they have a door. They smell. And when you do sit on them the seat is cold AND you get the really cold "breeze" blowing at you from down below... :p Yuck.

:lol: I went winter camping last February (in a tent) and it just happened to be the coldest weekend (-45 celcius) and I had to pee in the middle of the night. I get up, making sure not to wake up the other ten people around me, put on my boots and untie the straps for the tent "door". I turn on the flashlight and try to find the "washroom" (aka hole in the snow behind a snow bank). Talk about a cold breeze. At least you had the luxury of a seat.

No one could understand how I put up with that for a whole three days. One girl hated it so much she was SO determined to not go to the bathroom, I think she only went 1 or 2 times in total for the whole weekend. She had a self-proclaimed Bladder o' Steel, while the rest of us were Bladder o' Jelly. All in all it was fun though.

Your story (jessi15) reminds me of one time when my friend and I went camping with her dad and a few other people in Vermont. It was about 20 degrees fahrenheit or something like that (in the beginning of September!) so we were wrapped up pretty warmly. As soon as we got in the sleeping bag, I turned to my friend and told her I had to go to the bathroom. I couldn't help it, when nature calls, nature really calls.

We start at 8:58 but my bus ride is an hour and a half long.

We start at 7:55, next year it's 7:35 I think. You're all making me jealous!

My school starts at 9:30...I wake up at 8 and the bus comes at 9:15. Though, I hate our hours (9:30-4:00) they're wretched! Especially in the winter time, when it gets dark at like 4! :(

Once a week in the summer I had to get up at 5:00 and be at work at 5:45 to scrub down the bathrooms. I had to struggle to stay awake since I'm not a morning person... that would have been funny to walk in on, someone asleep with their hand in a toilet, lol.

ewww! That would be gross :lol: That must not be the most fun job ever, but I don't think it would bother me too much. It all depends, I wouldn't want to have to clean up the ones at my school. Teenagers today, when will they ever learn! :lol:

I get up around 6, my bus comes at 6:35. we get to school around 7:15, at 7:18 they start letting people off the buses, first bell is at 7:20 (but it doesn't mean anything :P), warning bell at 7:30, bell to be in homeroom is 7:35. then the class schedule is:

7:35-8:27 - Homeroom (Attendence and announcements)/Period 1
8:32-9:16 - Period 2
9:21-10:05 - Period 3
10:10-10:54 - Period 4
10:59-11:43 - Period 5
11:48-12:32 - Period 6
12:27-1:21 - Period 7
1:26 - 2:10 - Period 8

buses start leaving around 2:18, get tied up in traffic for a while (it's ridiculous- depending on which direction you're going, it can take 10 minutes just to get out of the parking lot). if I go home on the bus, I don't get home until around 3:00.

but I'm so lucky (being a guy and all) :P

I get up about 6 because school starts at 7:50 but I have to leave at 7:20. *zzz*

My little bro gets up about 4 because he attends ballet school in the mornings from 6:30 to 8:30 or 9 and has to travel about 45 minutes to get there. He goes to regular school in the afternoons.

School starts 7:20 for me.

My room is cold, the hallways are cold, the bathroom is cold, the kitchen is cold. So my whole morning is early and cold. :rolleyes:

School starts at 7:50 for me. IMy mom takes me to school so I get up around 6:30. (well the alarm rings at 6:30) I force myself to get out of bed at 7:00.

Is it just me, or does my school start earlier than everyone else?

We get out at 2:20, but on most days of the week, I don't get home until 5:30. Then I have to have a half-hour nap.
