you just make them :) and for saving in .jpg you have to use the optimizer a bit:

You make it with blending... It is really all about having your pics cut perfectly at the outlines and to have a nice background! For some ideas have a look at my tut on the user submited tuts on this forum. It is called fancy blending for PSP7 (and up)!

sorry for double posting but I couldnt edit my last post..anyway sinem..I'm kinda confused by your tutorial... this part..what do you mean choose a colour? how do I do that..or what exactly do I do?

3. Now you look at the pics and decide what main colours you want. I choosed orang. Use the dropper tool to select a colour of one background from one of your pics.

4. Go to Animation Shop and open your images in there which you want to have a transperant back (pds like). One of the pics was already orange, the other not. So I choosed the other one and floodfilled it with green and used the replace colour tool (animation>replace colour) to make the green transparent.

you can choose with the dropper tool one of the colours of your background and floodfill the back with it. But if you want your back to be transperant, then instead floodfill it with limegreen and get rid of the colour by using the replacing tool! Just choose the colour with dropper that appears when the window opens. The box in the mittle should become your limegreen when you click on the greenin your pic under that window... and make sure to check replace with transperancy or something like that...
that is normally simply all... you just need to experiment...

sorry to ask this but hey if we wanna learn I guess its ok to ask questions..anyway here's what you put.

6. Now we make a motionblur background for our blending in the new image we opened in 300x300.
Floodfill it with the main colour you want your background to have and draw stripes over it in every direction with 2 other colours both lighter as your background colour.
Go to effects>texture effects> fur and change your settings to blur: 3 length: 100 density: 100 and transperantcy to 0!
Go to effects> geometric effects> wind and change your settings to 40 and tick left. Do the same again with right ticked.

umm ok when we start a new page right...and we put the background layer.. I click on the pencil and add 2 lighter colours right? if thats right I did that..but then when I go to do the effects and stuff it wont work because the lines I drew are put in there own layer. how do I fix that?Do I just merge the lines with the background colour?

Sinem

Do it this way:
Floodfill, then choose a colour and draw many stripes onto the image with the airbrush, then take a lighter colour and to the same!(the size should be around 15-30). Then you merge (but normally, all should be in one layer) and then add the fur and after that the wind!

hope you understand better now...

When you go to save it, click on options in the bottom right hand corner. Then set the compression value to 1 or something low, and it should be less blurry =)

I normal tuts do have pics! But you should read the rules of the tutorial site first! It says no links! And the general rules of LEIA says no pictures!
So think befor post, and always read the rules. I always tried to post the links, but Mirna deleted them again, course it is her job... And I think my tuts are not too hard... of course you need to know how to use PSP first. If you don't even know the tools than look for a tut about that first...

umm I did set the compression to 1 and thats how it still came out. Anyway why dont you just make a page or something for your tutorial with pictures then just tell people that you have a page on psp7 and link it to that page?

sinem, watch out with what you say please :) there's no reason to act like that to other members

about the tutorials:
you are able to post tutorials on this forum, as long as they don't referr to your own site because that would be 'advertising' your own site. So if someone else posts an url to your tutorial it's fine, as long as you dont post your own.

Just read the tutorials there are and if you don't understand it ask it here or try a search on www.google.com for other tutorials that do have what you need.
Love,
Mirna

Sorry Mirna, I know... it is just like that I explained her everything she wanted to know without any complaines and then she says : 'well you're tut is not good, you have no pics on them...'
I had to read the rules, so she has to... and i wanted to post this smilie one day... lol

And to squalls, if you would ask me, I'd love to send you screencaps of my tuts if you pm me... :) I'm not that mad all the time and normally don't bite...

i completely understand your reason for it :) I know, everybody has to read the rules. Yep :)

if you cant put a link to your tutorial then why are other people allowed to give other people links to tutorials?

Sinem is just referring to the tutorial in the "submitted tutorial" forum that she has added something to.
