I'll be a senior next year :D I was told that your junior year is the hardest, and it's true! I'm going through what you are right now. I'm not applying for schools, however, I'm just looking so I can make sure I've taken classes that I need to be accpeted... This year will either make or break my senior year =/ Don't worry, though :D Soon the stress will be over and you'll be happy you made it. Good luck!

I hear you on the scholarships and stuff! iI agree that it is hard and that since seniors leave the school before the rest of the students it is definitly rush time. But don't worry about it, it will be fine just take a couple of deep breaths, or do like im doing, have an exam? cram for it on the way to school........

The only time that I have heard senior year being easy is when people take their required electives early during high school.

I don't think I have much work to do senior year. I already know I'll be accepted into a college.
I have pasted every single class. I'll only need eight more credits senior year. Meaning I'm only required to take four classes each semester, but I'm going to take six anyway.
I'm going to take consortion for three hours(actually not it's much work), come back to school for one hour, then go to work.

i have a lot to do only because I go overboard :P in order to graduate, I only need 3 more credits- English, social studies, gym, and health. I took health first semester, half a credit in social studies is almost over, and a quarter credit in gym is already done. but I also take math, AP physics, and principles of engineering (which is a really cool class- we rarely have homework and we just finished a project that basically entailed smashing eggs- that's a horrible oversimplification, but it's somewhat true :P). first semester I had one free period, and second semester (starting Friday), I have two- and they're seventh and eighth periods, so if I ever get a car and my license (:P), I can leave for the day around 12:30 :P

I'm sick of college applications, and I want to be done with high school already :P

Heh, I won't be a senior for another two years. But being the TP person that I am, I'll only have one academic class. :P

:p I'm only a sophmore and I'm freaking out. I'm just sick of having to do what everybody else wants me to do and not what I want to do. *sigh* I'm so pooped out by the weekend that I don't even want to do anything.
"Go hang out with your friends." my dad says. But I'm too tired!

I'm also a senior this year, and it has been my easiest year yet. I only took two honors classes, though, and neither one of them is bad at all. I'm keeping a 3.6 gpa, which isn't bad.

I'm going to the community college here because of the location and price and I'm not ready to move away yet...there was a one page application and a placement test in april or something. heh.

I can't wait for this year to end, though--every little thing has been annoying me and highschool hasn't been the most enjoyable experience for me, heh.

you are lucky! =p blah....keeping gpa...i dont even know what mine is on a 4 point scale...i have a weird 7.0 scale where everything is weighted so iono

i think on a 4.0 scale though my gpa is like 4.7...something...::shrug:: dont know how that works though =/

geez im so ready to go to college and move away well i dont want to leave my family and all but you have to at one point and i feel like its now

on a 4.0 scale your maximum gpa is 4.0 :) at least that's how it is at my school. As are 4.0, Bs are 3.0, etc. and the gpa is the average of these numbers. perhaps 3.7 then?

Same at my school. So, if you have AP classes and get all A's, you can get 5.0, 6.0, etc, depending on the amount of AP classes taken.

yeah but AP courses are counted as a 5.0 at some colleges when they recalculate gpa's since my school is on a 7.0 scale

I have a 4.0 GPA- my weighted average from grades 9-11 is a 100 even. yet I'm 53 in my class, out of 651. a lot of people seem to have averages in the 103 range...

my school has a weird weighting system. remedial classes are factor 7, Regents (average) level are factor 8, honors are 9, and AP are factor 10. you take the number of credits you get for the class (usually .5 or 1), multiply by the factor, and multiply by the average grade (4 marking periods plus the final divided by 5), and divide that whole number by something else, or something like that :P I don't even know the exact formula, all I know is that for me it came out to be 100 :P basically it means that if you get an 80 in an AP class, it's compared to everyone else as if it was a 100, because all comparison is done from the Regents level (if that makes sense :P), so someone that gets 100 in every Regents class has the same average as someone that gets 80 in every AP class.
