Does anyone know the code for when you click on a AIM buddy icon it automatically changes, so you won`t have to right-click, then save, then go to preferences etc.? I tried the code
<a href="aim:BuddyIcon?src=http://.gif"><img src=".gif" border="0"></a>
But it didn`t work...I think there may be more to the code. Can anyone help please?
I'm assuming you filled it in, rite? You're not that bad, r u?

Did you fill in the image source?
<a href="aim:BuddyIcon?src=http://somedomain.com/buddyicon.gif"><img src="buddyicon.gif" border="0"></a>

LoL yes I filled in the image name, I`m not new to html...I used View>>Source on a website to get the code and just replaced their file name with mine, but it wouldn`t work =/

When you say it's not working, does it not ask you to change the buddy icon? or does it not do anything at all ?
Also, can you view the image before you click on it? Perhaps its in a different folder?

When I or someone else clicks on it, the mouse turns into a timer symbol, but nothing happens. The pop-up that asks if you want to change your icon doesn`t show up. The icon is there on the page though.

I just went to imaddict.com and they had to code for changing the buddy icon...and it was the smae as mine. Mine was just in html format, but the code is still exactly the same...I don`t think the code is wrong because it worked on the site I got it on (www.moonfeathers.com) and all I did was change the URL and filename in the code...I don`t get why it doesn`t work...My guess is that theres another part to the code that you add to the html editor...

I'm not really sure what to tell you. You didn't provide a link to your problem page nor the actual coding you're using. All I can say is that you need to make sure that the image path is correct.
