1) How do you do "soft edges"? (Edges (of a layer)that blend into the rest of the picture)

2) How do you do something that you could turn into a webpage background? I'm guessing it has something to do with opacity....

1. The first thing you can do is to erase the edges and smooth the pic insite the other with blending and wind... or you use the photoframes included in psp8... they have a nice collection...

2. You need to make the background seamless... I know how to do it in psp7... I'll look how to do it in psp8...

2. For PSP 8 titling go Effects to Image Effects to Seemless Tiling. (It's pretty cool how PSP 8 does it.)

Are we talking about a repeating background here or something? :confused:

You want to make 2 images blend together?

If so, just open the image you want. Open the other and take a selection tool, whether you want it square or freehand.

Set a high feather, 30 or 40.

Select, copy and paste.

You can set the opacity too.

Hope that helps.

If you set this seamless tiling as you background in the html-code, it repeats itself automatically!
