If I'm using a brush in photoshop, how can i outline it with another color?

Create a new layer UNDER the layer with the brushes. If they are on different layers, merge them. 2. With the new layer selected in the layers window, hold down Ctrl and click the layer with the brushes. 3. Go to select >> modify >> expand >> 1 px. 4. Select the color you want to outline the brushes with. Hold down Alt + Backspace to fill in the layer. Note: I am using PS 5.5. Small_Wonder 01-23-2004, 05:19 PM Thanks that worked perfectly 1.
