How do I make the background of a gif transparent?

What program do you use?

try a search on the forum

or try a search with www.google.com for "psp transparent gif" or "photoshop transparent gif" or if you have a whole other program try that instead

In most advanced programs (Photoshop etc) you can select the transparent colour of your image when you are saving. In other words, if you paint have pink where you want the image to be transparent, then you can select that pink as your transparent colour :)
