Hi, all, I have returned. I bet you forgot all about me. Anyway my mom never checked this place out like she said she would, and I may not ever get back on after this *crosses fingers* but what do you think about my situation?

SITUATION:
My mom said not to go to forums. Even this one. She said she'd check this one out, but she never did, even though I remind her on an almost daily basis. I really really miss being here, but I don't want to get my mom mad. What should I do?

My way of getting through that is to sneak down to the library and get on the computer there (that's where I'm posting from now :lol:), but I don't think that that will work for you. *thinks*

Yes sneaking behind your parents' backs is the way to go. I am so looking foreward to when my sons are old enough to do this. :help:

I have to disagree with the 'go behind the parents backs' stuff because you'll end up getting caught and then you'll be in bigger trouble :P

Just pick a day when shes home and you're on the computer and show her :)

Welcome back Pom! It'll be really nice if things do eventually work out and you can be here permanently again, it can't be nice having to be sneaky like this.

Thanks guys, I missed you all:)The library things not going to work, there's no way I can get there by myself and if my parents took me they'd want to know what I was doing. As for being sneaky, it's really awful and I feel kinda guilty. Sitting her down and showing her might help, but I don't know if she'd want me to do that. So I guess that leaves me with two options: sneak on, or annoy her to death. Or what do you think of me asking my dad? He'd be easier to get, but then if I was on and my mom saw me she might be angry, I don't know. If she never does get on though, I don't know what I'll do. I'd either be all alone without Internet friends to talk to, or I'd be a sneaky person. This is so frustrating! I don't know what to do!

Keep asking, if she sees how much it means to you, she might give in. Sometimes parents keep saying "no" hoping that their kids will forget..i know i do but when michaela keeps asking, i know it's something she really wants so i get it or let her do what she wanted to do.

Just go up to her and tell her that when it's convenient for her, you'd like to show her the forum and she can sit and see for herself. :)

Hmm....as for your mom, neither sneaking on the computer nor pestering her like crazy is good idea. Try leaving little reminder notes around the house that have the address to the forum on them. Don't put up too many and cause a mess, but put them in places she looks alot. Try to say that this place means a lot to you, and it never hurts to butter her up. Just don't use the fat-free kind, it tastes icky. :stickout:

I didn't really think it was a good idea sneaking around. I was being scarcastic up there on my other post. Guess I forgot to make it scarstic enough. Blame it on this dang headache I got now.

I was going to say what everyone else said, but i'd eventually get carpal tunnel :P So summary: I wouldn't sneak on, but drop friendly hints. And tell her it means a lot to you for her to come look. And tell her it won't take that long. That usually helps :P
