I'm trying to paste one image into another in PSP 8, and it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas as to what's causing the problem and how I can fix it?

what is it doing? nothing?

control+ L is that what you are using?

Yeah. It'll only give me a small portion of the image I want to paste, even when I tell it to 'select all'

is your image you want to paste in layers? You need to copy all layers.

this may be a duh but you never know.

how do you do that?

it's control shift c to copy it merged. If you want to merge all the layers, go into the layer thing where you can choose your layers and right click on one of them, and then go to merge > all

thought about that the pic is smaller then the one you want to paste in... of course then it will look funny... make sure both images are set to 100%...
but maybe you should try the merge thingy first...

that shouldn't matter, even if the window is at 88% view then it should still copy the whole image :)

Well, I tried today and it seemed like all funny because everything looked strange at the first sight... Sometimes it is just confusing on the first sight...
Then there are things missing in the selection... but maybe just I'm so stupid to be confused by that... LOL

never had problems with the images not being at 100%. I have a lot of photos and when i open a whole bunch at one time i make them really small cause i open that many trying to figure out what to use and i never have problems with copying and pasting the image i want.

yeah, it is normaly the sam with me... Sometimes I have so many pics open that my temporary storage is so full I have to close pics again.... and I got that thingy... when I change something on apic, I don't save it directly but save it as... so I have got about 6 graphics looking nearly the same with slightly different opacity or so... lol

It's been saying "There is no visible data in this selection" or something akin to that.

then that means that the layer you have selected is empty.

is it really empty or is psp8 on the fritz?

If it is, you might try redownloading it.

Same here :D Whenever I make a big change on a graphic, or like two different ideas (ie, I found two different fonts I like for one word), I save it as something like: banner1_5.psp

If it is, you might try redownloading it.

Or checking the help guide... If she's using a trail, would redownloading it not work? I'm not too sure, so that's why I'm asking before she does it :D

if you redownload it, it'll just count the days you've already used. I've done it before, something went wrong and i redownloaded it but it knows when you got it.

I bought mine :D Actually, I fixed it. By doing it the long way...pasting everything in individually. Whatever works.
