How do u make a mailing list and how do you make a auto matic email send to the person who just submited the form using a text box with value email.

i was more looking for the one were it post a message straight after u hit the submit button to the email that was in the text box. thanks any way

sign up with them, then sign up for the email form. Go to "auto response" and make your auto-response email for it. You do need to add your ID number into your form in order to make it work

But i don't really think there is just one line of HTML that you can add to your email list code so that it does the same... Not with HTML atleast.. i think you need some kind of scripting like CGI or PHP with it

Can you give an example of a website that does what you want - it appears as though you want to do different things.

like when u sign up to bravenet.com after u hit submit it sends an email to your email adress telling what your password would be somtin like that and the other thing is just were u subscribe your email and you get put on a mailing list.

I see. You can write your own - but only if your host supports something like PHP.

Do you mean that you want a sign-up page and a login page for your site?
