?? Does anyone know how to add colors to custom made brushes?

They are just whatever colour the selected colour is in the palette, if you mean you want to make them more than one colour then im no expert but im pretty sure you cant do that...its just whatever colour the person using it has selected.

I have a color in the palette, and my brushes are not taking on that color. Do you know how to make sure they take on the color?

if you mean that once you click on brushes, it changes color and doesn't stay the same, there should be a little box that you can check in psp8 to make sure that the colors stay the same no matter what tool you choose.

DO you have it set to paint in color? If you've got gradient or texture or nothing set, that could be it. Click the little black arrow in the color box and select the paint bucket.

i always thought it was there too, but for some reason the "retain style" checkbox is only with the preset shape lol !

so it must be the colour, if you click left button with your mouse, the colour that's in the upper box is the colour the brush will be in. If you right click with your mouse the bottom colour should do it
