Makar 01-11-2004, 11:47 PM If you have some sort of Word Prossesser (sp?) then you can look at the list of fonts there. But I wouldn't go with something too wild because then it would be hard to read and people get annoyed. :P I usually go with something simple, like Arial Lucida Console Tahoma Veranda Tahoma is my personal favourite. ;) lovely 01-11-2004, 11:49 PM There are lots of fonts out there... anything in particular you're looking for? Do you have a theme maybe? If you're not really sure, you could just google for 'free fonts'. There's bunches and bunches of them. spikemeister 01-11-2004, 11:53 PM Remember unless you are using these fonts in an image other users may not be able to see them. However if you find one you like that is not that popular have a look here (http://www.ssi-developer.net/design/embed-font.shtml) to see how you can make the font available to people accessing your site. lovely 01-11-2004, 11:56 PM Right. If you're going to use something people may not have, it's best to turn it into an image. Shake n Goldfih 01-12-2004, 12:02 AM well you see i cant download any fonts because i have linus and you cant download anything over the internet because the world thinks that there is only a windows lol but i mean here go to my website and tell me what you think would be best: http://www.geocities.com/hiddensecretsawards also tell me what you think spikemeister 01-12-2004, 12:35 AM Personally i think the font you are using in the menu is ok although a little small. I have never been a fan of frames but i understand they serve a purpose sometimes. You probably know this (it may be intentional) but the scrollbars are different colours in your top and left frame. In fact you could adjust things slightly and take the scrollbar in the top frame away. Your top banner is a little hard to read but looks pretty kool. Ill have another look when its nearer completion. Good luck with it! bellportal 01-13-2004, 10:54 AM What's wrong with something like Arial or Comic Sans? ~x~karyn~x~ 01-14-2004, 12:43 AM I really like the font you have right now. If you use a certian font, you need to make sure that it is a basic font that all computers have. Otherwise, other people will not see the font correctly as you do. bellportal 01-14-2004, 06:13 PM I really like the font you have right now. I agree, but you may want to make the font size of the left hand frame a little larger. Also, when you use any of the links on the left, they go to a page which cannot be found. ;) |
