<b>Thanks a lot</b> :)
deeril 01-10-2004, 01:11 AM You might want to try this page to help you with rollovers:
http://www.jennyspage.net/rollover.html
Rosey 01-10-2004, 01:23 AM You can't make a rollover on an image map for example. The only way to achieve what I think you want to do is to make your layout, slice it up and then do the rollover on the parts you want.
You can do an iframe like this:
http://www.lissaexplains.com/frames.shtml#inline
and then on your image you'll have content, about me and all that, you can link the content to your frame. If you name your frame "frame", this is how the images would be linked:
<a href="aboutme.html" target="frame"><img src="aboutme.jpg" border="0"></a>
and then your "about me" page would open in that frame.
edit: i found this tutorial (http://local-girl.org/malia/pages/tut37.html) if you still need help
Miss_Thang 01-10-2004, 03:14 AM thanx a whole lot Rosey!!

kat-tastrophe 01-10-2004, 06:59 AM hey, thanks for askin that Q and thanks for the answer! ive been wondering that too.. :)
Miss_Thang 01-10-2004, 08:04 AM hey rosey...the tutorial worked great...but i have trouble where she says to crop the rectangle and everything else below that. But everything else wrked out fine...but i need help with what i just told u...umm thnx...and i'm glad it helped you kate :D
Rosey 01-10-2004, 06:15 PM Best thing is to take it a step at time.
I'm assuming this is where you are stuck:
Then open up your original image and crop out the square we faded earlier. It will look like this.
Cropping is easy, if you open your image and then choose the crop tool, you can always adjust the rectangle or square so that it's right where you need it to be before you double click it and actually crop. (I wish the selection tool would work that way too...)
Miss_Thang 01-11-2004, 12:42 AM thx rosey! i got it now...but now i don't understand the whole coding prt. The coding is much different from what i had b4 [lol]...especially the image mapper part...where umm she said to save what we wanted to open in our frames as "img.map" something like that....but mine won't save in img.map it will only save in htm html form. i'm confused now [lol]...thx i hope u can help! :bufly: :rose:  :fly2: :butterfly
Rosey 01-11-2004, 12:55 AM i looked but I didn't see where she said to save it that way.
What does her sentence say exactly?
If you mean saving the image you are using for your map, you just save it as a jpg.
The code you save as html.
Miss_Thang 01-11-2004, 01:00 AM Umm ok here's the quote:
"Repeat this over and over for all your navigation. Click save as, save it as map."
"The next thing you want to add is the image map codes from the map we made earilier in PSP. Just open up the map.htm file you saved, right click on it, click on view source and copy JUST the map part. It will look like this squished up example, lol."
You get it now?
Rosey 01-11-2004, 01:08 AM Yeah I get it...lol
When you do your map in the mapper deal, save it as map.htm
later she tells you to open it up again and copy just the map part, not the <html> or <body> tags or anything like that.
Does that make sense?
Miss_Thang 01-11-2004, 01:35 AM umm kinda...i'm still trying to figure it out...lol
Rosey 01-11-2004, 01:41 AM you'll get..don't think too much, you'll understand at the end.
just do the map, save it.
then when she says to reopen it, do that and copy everything starting from <img name=......
until </map>
