Hey
I've just created a Navigation bar on Adobe Photoshop, and across the top I have:
KEVIN MEDIA FANS MISC HOME
How would I link that to all differnt sections... because the entire thing is one image?
Get back to me asap.
Love Jodie

You'll want to make an image map (http://www.lissaexplains.com/fun6.shtml#map).
What version of Photoshop are you using?....cause you can use that program to slice it up and so on.

I'm using Adobe Photoshop 2.0
Okay so I'm reading the information about the image map... but how do I work out what my measurments are...

Just type in some that you think are pretty close then keep changing them until you get it right, or you could use a program such as CuteMap which does most of the work for you.
Your using Photoshop 2.0? Seriously? My god I think it's time you upgraded.

I only bought it like a month back... where are you from? Maybe us Aussies are behind in technology lol
What if I'm using Microsoft Picture it! 2001? How do I do it then?

Well I'm in New Zealand and the current version of PhotoShop is CS which I believe it 8.0 or something. So unless it's a different program I'm confused.
I'm not sure whether Picture It! Has that feature, I use it and I don't think I've ever come across it anyway.

if you follow the url Sheila gives you, you can just make an image map without any program.
Image map is just a code, you don't need a graphic program to slice up the graphic UNLESS you want to add rollovers in the graphic wich is only possible if you slice it up (an image map is still one image, rollovers requires more images)
example:
<area shape="rect" coords="0,0,50,50" href="frames.shtml" alt="frames">
the first two numbers are the X and Y coordinate from the upper left corner of the area you want to link. In this case it's the upper left corner from the whole image, because it's 0 and 0. X coordinate is amount of pixels from left, Y coordinate is amount of pixels from top.
The second numbers are x and y coordinate from the bottom right corner of the area. In this case the area is 50 by 50 pixels big.
And that's how you do all the areas. You can find out the coordinates with photoshop and paintshoppro by moving the mouse over the graphic and see the numbers in the status bar

Mirna
