View Full Version : New Year's Plans
SizzZzlinhair 12-30-2003, 02:23 AM Just wondering abut what everyone was doing for New Year's Eve.
I'm going over a family friend's house, like I have almost every year. We've always had fun there. New Year's is one of my favorite holidays :)
Karen_ 12-30-2003, 02:44 AM I don't know what I'm doing.. My friends and I might just do our normal get together (bowling, food, drive around) but I don't know if anything will be open?
Ayosu_Ling 12-30-2003, 03:46 AM I'm sure stuff will be open on New years eve...I wish I had my liscense..would make life alot easier..I'm probably just getting together with a few friends..I was invited to a party, but...I don't really like big crowds.
Midnight2828 12-30-2003, 04:00 AM I have to babysit, fun fun!
zangerbanger 12-30-2003, 04:05 AM Stay home to watch the countdown on TV :) .
kittycat 12-30-2003, 04:24 AM I have plans to do nothing, I'm very excited :P It'll just be the same as any other night for me! I just hope the neighbours are going somewhere else that night, they're extrememly noisy :P
Arc Angel 12-30-2003, 04:42 AM Some family that's visiting with us may still be here.. So we might do something with them... Now that something may involve sitting around doing nothing or playing games. But something none the less. *contradicts self* :P
And if they're gone... nothing
lefty 12-30-2003, 04:49 AM I'm not throwing the party, for once :D I'm very excited. :P
Rosey 12-30-2003, 04:56 AM I'm also doing nothing. My one goal is to try to not miss the ball in NY this year....ooooo how exciting.
Sheila 12-30-2003, 12:43 PM We'll be going to Peter's sister's house. *woot woot* :)
starlet 12-30-2003, 01:48 PM No plans yet, im not that into new years! Gavs working so no hanging out with him...I'll go out with my friend if shes just going somewhere local but chances are she'll be off into town clubbing, in which case i'll just stay home and fall asleep at 11pm like i have done the last 2 years lol
lilmsunpopular 12-30-2003, 02:30 PM Usually my dad stays home with Ashley and me and we eat junk food, we play videogames, and watch the ball drop.
However this year my sister is going to a Newyears party. So My friend(Jenni), me, and my dad are going to go see Bad Santa, then go home and eat more junk food and watch the ball drop.
westernrider 12-30-2003, 03:34 PM We are just going to stay home... we have already bought a couple of bottles or sparkling wine so we are gonna watch the ball drop...lol... I really do not think it is that exciting... we might go to the resturant call the Cheese Cake Factory... but that is not for certain...
Neptune 12-30-2003, 04:06 PM No idea. My family normally does something, but this time things will be different so I don't know.
Karen_ 12-30-2003, 05:06 PM bah, It looks like I'm not doing anything after all. Plans were cancelled due to lack of car lol. Oh well, staying home is just as fun... Maybe I'll finish off my enormous bag of chocolate. :)
westernrider 12-30-2003, 05:09 PM lol... that is cool... I THINK that is what we are doing
*points to other post* ^
but I might just do nothing also... New Years isn't really a big thing with my family...

~x~karyn~x~ 12-30-2003, 10:09 PM My New Years will be the same as every other New Years. BIRTHDAY PARTY! only, this year we are going roller skating. I'm going to have friends spend the night as usual and we'll party into the New Year, and into Karyn being 14!
Owlie42 12-30-2003, 11:20 PM I'm staying home, watch TV, drink Coke...sure. Unless my friend has alternate plans...
BTW: Karyn: Happy early B-day. I'm not sure I'll be able to get on the computer tomorrow or the day after. :)

sms never works for me on new year eve...i'll get a bunch ready then send after 12...the dont usually get 'delivered' until a few hours later cos all the networks crash or just get overloaded lol Is that just an England thing?
I have to babysit, fun fun!
Heh. Ditto. I going to go babysit my little cousins(ages 8, 5, and soon to be 1). The baby will be in bed so neither I or my brother have to change diapers.:D And we've babysat the 5 and 8 year olds before so it'll be good. They're parents are probably not going to be back till around 1:00 or something so we're also sleeping over...fun fun.
Loren 12-31-2003, 01:44 PM I'm not doing anything. We'll uses some sparklers at about 8 or 9 and then go to bed probabley.
Listen to the music countdowns :P
