Mine is like a screwed up version of the "Vortex Space" wallpaper that comes with Windows XP. its slightly vectorized and faded red. (i can't take a picture right now)

how do you take snap shots like that of your computer? with a digital camera?

up near the "F12" button there's a button(or there should be) that says "Print Screen|SysRq", make sure you can see your desktop and press that button. Then open up paint or any graphics program and paste it in (edit>paste or ctrl+v) and there it is :)

I had scanned in a picture of my great (I think) grandparents, and just stuck it as the background... I didn't realize so many of you customize your desktops. My other computer just has a really nice pic of lots of cut in half oranges... it's very orange!

No, lol. It's a leaf with warped colors and this grid thing over it. My mom thought it was wood. Because I know what it is I can't see it as anything else.
