A gift certificat to a HUGE (not only) bookstore (need to buy some books to learn this web design stuff),
A book for adresses, important dates, presents asked for...(kinda cute),

and I've still to get from my mom and step-dad, and his family :)

It's not really that expensive stuff, but I think it's cool. You guys are lucky to be getting digital cameras and such. Wish I had one.

Hmm..I'm not counting stocking stuffers, although we did get "Pop pops" or something like that-my brother was overjoyed about that because it's Engrish, heh.

But let's see:
A few CDs. (Something Corporate, Aimee Mann, and The Distillers)
A few books (The Tao of Pooh, Annie on my Mind, and Tipping the Velvet, Volume II of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and the Unofficial companion the the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)
A few DVDs (Pirates of the Carribean, The Nightmare Before Christmas)
A new digicam (it's so cute, since it's only about 2 inches long)
An MP3 player (even though my computer complained to me because it wasn't "XP certified" or something like that. It backed up all of my files anyways before installing it, so I'm not too worried)

I got all the things I wanted, so I'm quite glad. Even though our house is a bit hectic with everyone in it, I had to hide out in the bathroom and read for a little while just to have some time alone.

My present highlights are a digital camera, a Gameboy Advance SP, a "video or computer game of your choice" certificate (I'm trying to figure out what to get), fifty bucks from my grandparents (they couldn't buy me a present while sailing the sea), and...that's it so far. I'm still going to have two more christmases though, and I'll be able to give the gifts I got everyone. Yay!

Uhhh....My mom was oringinally going to give me PSP 8 but instead my aunt did so she had to get and fill in that empty space. So she went to Target. I had told her there was a little section of anime DVDs at Target so she picked stuff up from there. She only looked to see that they weren't 17+ or anything like that.

i got a flip cell phone :P lol, it's the coolest thing.. changes color n everything.. i got a couple dvds (freaky friday, bruce almighty, 1st season of three's company, and extended version of lotr:TTT) and some cds.. and odd stuff.. like a jelly bean machine, lol.. oh yeah and a nifty anklet :) i just cant wait to show off my cell.. i've been wanting it f-o-r-e-v-e-r! cept now i'm not really sure if i want to give the number to some of my friends (they get those stupid guys to pick up their phones and look at them, and i really dont want my # given to them cause they call and hang up etc.)

so i'm not sure what to do. when my friends got theirs (i was the first one who wanted one, and then once all the rest of them started gettin them they put in my face, some even going to the extent of saying "i got one before yoouuu!!") etc. bleh. but it was worth waiting a year for a much better phone.. LOL

The main thing I got was a Zire 21 palm pilot thingy... My parents are already regretting buying it for me. I don't have anything important to write in it, so I just write everything in it lol.
Example
Mom: Karen, are you coming shopping with me on Saturday?
Me: When is your expected departure?
Mom: I don't know, around 1:00
Me: Let me check my schedule... *looks at palm pilot* I have an important meeting with the television at 12:30, then I have to take a shower at 1:30 .. I could book you in at 2:00, is that convienient for you?
and my to do list is: shower, eat, sleep.

or..
Dad: Can you let the dog in?
ME: *looks at palm pilot* I'm afraid not.

I got other things to.. gift certificate to walmart (woohoo!) I got a really nice leather computer chair... No more sitting on milk crates for me! (j/k) and I got a hedgehog stapler!!!! lol.. and I got other stuff, but I'm to lazy to type it all..*checks palm pilot* in approximatly 11 minutes I should be sleeping. I'm such a geek lol

I was given a pizza pie dish and yes, I made some home-made pizza even the dough was home-made. It was really yummy! :stickout: I also was given three cute stuffanimals to my collection. Lastly, I have some sky-blue pastel pajamas. :) My friend hasn't given me her gift yet, but we are planning to do something on New Years. I asked what she bought for me but she wont tell to I get them. :rolleyes:

well... they are Paul Frank and the are bright red with huge mokeys all over it that have braces :|... I got another pair of monkey pajama's I do like... they are sea blue with tiny monkeys on it... I was considering asking for a PDA because I think it might be slightly useful, especially starting in August/September (any guesses why? :P), but I couldn't figure out which one so I didn't bother lol either they're cheap and not upgradeable or anything at all, or they're ridiculously expensive. gah.

I was also expecting a Hess truck (it's an annual thing- and not to play with, but to save because the ones still in boxes and everything after a long time are valuable :P), but I didn't get one. I think normally my grandmother remembered that every year, but without her, my aunt (who I believe did shopping for my grandfather) forgot about them.

*ponders* I think it was like $130... I do not even know why we got it! but I am glad I have it know! we have a CHI hair dryer also... meh... I do not like it though... it is bright red and it takes for ever to dry my thick hair with it.
I barely even use hair dryers. Plus, all of our shampoo is the generic brand. I feel bad because when I get my hair dyed I have this bad feeling I'll have to use special shampoo.

I do not use special shampoo's either.. I really do not care about my hair that much... most of the time right after I get out of the shower I will just leave it wet and put it up in a bun and not even dry it... my mom is the one who normally buys all the CHI stuff *shrug*
I hate hairdryers, I have bad experiences with ours whenever I use it-it smells bad and it eats my hair. But we've had it for fifteen years, so it's like family now (which sucks, because I want to get rid of it).

I'm kind of like you, but I wrap my hair in a towel for a bit before brushing it. My friends seem to be insane, they get up at 5:00 or 5:30 AM just so they can style their hair and put on their makeup. Sometimes I laugh maliciously them for doing that. It's evil, but it's also kind of fun.

I just use a comb-like brush after a shower, and let it dry. I don't even have to brush it for the rest of the day (it's turns out sort of curly. Not hugely curly, but enough to please me). Anyway, I don't have to do very much with my hair if I don't want to.

I towel-dry mine. Hairdryers...pah. I have incredibly thick and very wavy hair, and it's very prone to breaking. Moisturizing shampoo, intense conditioner...and they don't do anything either. grr...

My hair is really thick, it takes the hairdryer forever to dry my hair. I hate it, but my mom insists, because she think hair dryer give my straight hair more body. :rolleyes:

Hmmm...I have to remember what i got.

On Christmas Eve I opened stuffed animal dolls of Thing 1 and Thing 2.

and some other random stuff, but those are some of my favorites.

Oh, and I got a pair of PJs that is the CUTEST! It's got a glow in the dark kitty on the top and tha pants have glow kitties and mice.

Yeah, when got them I didn't know they were glowish PJs. They have a kitty with the hand in the bowl so we were all like "Oh it's Billy!" (Billy is my kitty) Because Billy always sticks his hand in the fish bowl and plays with the fish, but he doesn't eat em'.

unfortunately, when I get PJs, I seem to get the really strange ones...like the ones I got for my birthday...they were sea-green, with clouds or something on the bottoms and this really revolting top... :rolleyes:

this year was the first year I have actually liked my pj's... one year I got neon pink pj's with little stars on them and a skin tight shirt... and most of you already know how much I hate pink... I wanted to barf all over them... at least it would have changed their color :buckt:
