Hi everyone! Arrghh...I really need some help. My friend purchased a domain name from alldomains.com. I am going to be designing the site for him. I know I need to find a webspace host where I go in and edit the site, but once I buy this space, what do I do to somehow *link* the work I have created to that domain name?? I hope this makes sense to somebody...thanx!!

where the domain was registered, you have to update the nameservers to match the host's- usually they will be in the form ns1.[hostname].com and ns2.[hostname].com

also, paid hosts rarely have browser based web managers, so you wouldn't "go in and edit" the pages. instead, you will need to create the pages in a text editor on your computer, then upload them via FTP.

so pick a host, sign up, get the nameserver information, and update the domain registration record.
