How do I add grids using Painshopt Pro 8 or Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1?

If you as part of your graphic, it's really easy.

With psp8:

Open a new image 10x10.

Then pick the color you want for the grid.

Take your paint brush, 1 for the thickness and then paint a line at the top and then a line on the left.

Use the lasso tool, feather 30 or 40

Select where you want the grid

Choose patterns and choose your 10x10 as the fill.

Get the fill tool and fill it.

hope that made sense.

ok, once I lasso it, how exactly do I get it onto the other image?

The best way is to make another layer on the same image you want gridded.

Lasso the area, then fill that new layer with the grid. Then play around with the transparency of the grid.

Use the lasso if you want a certain area covered. If you want your whole image gridded just fill the whole layer. If you want a square or circle shape grid, use the shapes. Keep using the feather cause they will make the outer edges of your grid fade.

Hope that makes sense, if not I'll find a tutorial out there.
