We are starting a school newspaper at our school and our bringing it to the web. Is there any possible way I can post the real issues on the web-site through scanning or w/e. I know it has something to do with that Adobe thing but how do I do it.

how is your paper put together?

the way my school's paper works:
everything is placed on pages using Adobe PageMaker. we then use PageMaker to save all the section files as .ps (PostScript files), then use Adobe Acrobat Distiller to create .pdf files of the sections. it's the .pdf files that are then submitted to the printers.

if you do anything like the above, you could post the .pdf files on the site for download. that would allow people to save the files, and view the actual pages using Adobe Acrobat.

if that doesn't help, could you provide any more information on how your paper is assembled? or if all else fails, yes, you could scan the pages and put the images online.
