i've got flash 5. I went to all those tutorials and stuff, even the help section on it.

I need a step by step procedure on how to make SOMETHING, anything. i dont care what i make , i just need to understand it.

It says somewhere that i need to make a new Layer, and then put a picture on,theres no way i could that, no cut and paste, no "picture" button i could put a picture on.

The layers confuse me. I make a new layer, and its the second one...so i have here "layer 1" and "layer 14"

theres no play button, no nothing that can find or understand!

this is harder to understand that javascript quizzes!

do you have a little menu on the left that has symbols for line and quare?
If you click on those, you can draw stuff.
if you click control+F8 you can create a graphic, or a button etc.
if you want to import a graphic, under "file" (upper left hand corner), there is an option "import".

how cna you view what you've dont? i made 3 layers, 3 differne tpictures...i dont get how to preview it....no play button as far as i can tell...

under "control" you'll find "test movie"
