I have a question about Outlook.

I have so many email addresses..lol

I have a hotmail one and so does my husband and then we have our isp which we use for our family and friends and then another one for groups. We have a folder for each. The thing is that I can't add another folder with another email address. Is that all they let you have is 3 slots? When I added my email for the groups, it went into the default folder, the one with my isp's email addy.

I know I can do the whole identify thing but I don't want to have to keep switching back and forth. I'd rather have them all in the same identity but I would like to be able to seperate the email addies.

What version of outlook are your on?

I can show you how to do that and get everything all sepertated into folders.

If so, I don't think you can add another one of those main ones (like local folders and hotmail) for a POP3 account. The 'local folders' section receives all mail from those accounts and has it in the inbox folder, and then you can move it to a separate subfolder folder that you've created. You can set up "message rules" so that mail to/from a specific address goes into a certain folder right away. (Tools>Message Rules>Mail)

You could add a third hotmail account and end up with hotmail3.

What I do is:

Inbox
PC World
Inbox-Nancy
Keep
Hotmail

We have 1 hotmail, I have 2 emails and she has 1. I just have filters the put her email in Inbox-Nancy. Hotmail automaticaly goes in hotmail. Pcworld is just newsletters from pc world that are sorted out of my email. Important email I move to Keep so both of my emails end up in Inbox.

If you don't need outlook's calendar/tasks. Thier are programs that are just a toned down outlook like the one I use Incredimail, but unless you buy incredimail it puts adds at the bottom of your email like hotmail. I would have contiuned using outlook but it went nuts and made me type in all the passwords for every account every time I started even though I told it to remember the passwords.
