Personally I only like cheese when it is coked with something else or added to something else like Pizza or parmasean on spaghetti.
Personally I NEVER eat plain cheese by it self only with something else.

Whehehe! I love cheeze! At one time I was planning on making a cheeze factory with my friend Julia. She was going to grow cheeze in her basement and I was going to grow cheeze in my room. HGowever that plan failed big time. We would have had a hard time competeing with Kraft. Well I love cheeze. Okay, I like to eat cheeze plane and melted in a bowl. Does anyone else do that, or am I just crazy.

Ummm, now I know what it means but I just cant think of it right now, maybe if I could find my jap book from 3rd form. I did 10 weeks of it over 2 years ago and thats one of the things I remember, also that you pronounce it as "des" where the U is silent.

"desu" is...a state-of-being verb. That's as specific as I can get. :)

Cheese is... all right. It's not my favourite food (can't compete with chocolate!), but cheese is great at adding yumminess to food... it just needs some work on it's own.

Yes, it's just something to say after a sentence describing something. "Watashi wa baka desu.", "I am stupid." :lol: The best way to put it was something I saw from japanese-online.com (http://www.japanese-online.com) a while ago. "Noun wa noun desu." equals "Noun is noun." Oh, and if you add "ka" at the end of the sentence, it becomes a question. "Owlie wa chiisu desu ka." " Owlie is cheese?" or "Is Owlie cheese?" :D
That's my Japanese lessen for today. Unfortunately, that is all the Japanese I know. Oh, I recommend japanese-online to anyone who wants to learn Japanese. :)

I can't eat cheese on its own. There are some I like with crackers, though.

I don't know if anyone has replied to this, because I just found this... Anyway. Watashi means I/me/myself. Chiisu means cheese, because they got the word from English, so it's pronounced the same. (I's in Japanese - EE sound, U = oo sound, U's are often silent, thus, cheese.) desu has to do with being. Atashi wa Naoko desu = I am Naoko; Genki desu ka? = how are you? (ka = marks something as being a question; genki = good/healthy/fine)
I pretty much associate desu with the state of being verbs... Understand? It's sort of confusing to explain. :buckt:

Chiisu wa suggoi desu = Cheese is cool (suggoi is spelt with either one or two G's - people go either way)
