Hello! *waves*
How's everybody? First of all, sorry if my post doesn't make any sense but I'm not english.
I'm trying to make a web, I know the codes for links, images and all that stuff, my problem is with the layout. This (http://mywebpage.netscape.com/Bloody%20Tearss%2007/anne.png) is the layout i've made. I wanna put the links on the left side and the blog on the right side, and I don't know how to do it. I've read that I have to use Divs, I've tried to use them, but it's a little weird. I've read that I have to copy the backgrounds (left and right) and upload them with the layout to my server. I'm very clumsy for this, can someone explain me how to do it step by step?
Oh I forgot! I'm hosted at Geocities and I have Dreamweaver. I'm Trying to get Front Page.
Thank you so much =)

The divs are pretty easy. It looks rather like this:
<div style="position:absolute; left:#px; top:#px;">
The italisized part is the code that controls the positioning of your links and/or blog. Replace the two bolded parts with numbers. It'll take a few tries but eventually by editing the number of pixels it will position the div (and contents) where you want it.
I don't quite understand what you mean by copy them. It looks like you already have them up on your sever. =\

OK..here is the code to your web page-- see if it works.
<table border=0 cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 style="background:

<td class="main"><td width=30 class="main" align="left"> </td>
<td class="main" valign=top>
<span style="width:160px; height:290px; position:relative; bottom:-230px; left:7px; overflow:auto; border:none; color:none;"><p align=center><font color=white><font face=verdana><p><p>

Finally!! Thank you so much Helen!! I'm going to buy you a car or whatever you want for this, that's exactly what I wanted to do.
But another question: if you see the web: http://www.geocities.com/dark_tiggergrrl//index.html you can see the layout doesn't fill the whole page, what can I do for that?
Thank you so much again and thank you so much to you too Arc Angel! :)

you can cut off the last 5px of your layout and make it a backgound.
