I have got a free website, that I'm trying to personalize/customize a bit and I've got a little problem. I want to use a pattern for the sidebar, but I'm not sure how to. I know how to use a pattern for the entire background, but not for just that sidebar piece..is there anyone on here who can help?

By sidebar do you mean the side of the page? I'm not the best a HTML but you might be able to do divs (http://www.lissaexplains.com/html7.shtml). That's probably not what you wanted but I tried.......

What do you mean side bar? It is a table or frame, or something else? Whats the url to your website so I can see what you mean. If it is a frame OR a table you can just say <table bgcolor=HEX CODE> and if it is a frame you can just change the background of the frame url.
