meh. you know, that is REALLY mean, but that's how some people are, and it's what they do to other animals. ookay, the KFC chicken torturing thing is a rumor, it is false.. there are certain poultry-cultivating standards so torturing the chickens to death is not legal, as well as unsanitary. so don't worry, you're eating happy chicken when you're going to KFC.. or as happy as dead chicken'll ever be ;)

also, KFC is still fried chicken! what else do you think they'll be? tofurkey? :lol: no, they still sell chicken [fried chicken], and they go by KFC rather than kentucky fried chicken because kentucky sued the company for using the states name without permission.. and they have to pay royalties whenever they want to refer to it as kentucky fried chicken, i believe, that's why in the commercials they just say "KFC".

What if you eat food from KFC that's not chicken? Like I go in there and ask for potatoes or something, without the chicken... is that still a bad thing?

I wouldn't think so... Some people may say yes because you would be buying food from 'chicken hurters' or something. It all depends on your point of veiw.

My Great Grandpa used to own a small farm and raised chickens, When I was little I would go out there, get the snot pecked out of me, then chase after them and scare them away.

Our roosters never bit us. They'd follow us around, and when we got home, they'd come and greet us with the dog. :P But that's not why I hate them...

For a looong time, I had this ledge thing outside of my bedroom window that one of them got in the habit of using as a roost. Roosters, contrary to popular opinion, do not crow only when the sun rises. They crow whenever they feel like crowing. In my case, this stupid chicken would crow at 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 AM...plus throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening. So...I'd wake up to the sound of this ooo-ooo-oooer-ooo!!!! in the middle of the night several times a night. (Actually, picture a rooster crowing that sounds like "Happy New Years" and you've about got what it sounds like...).

Besides that, chickens are just really, really messy...bleck.

baby chic's are so cute.. i use to have them as pet until we moved...I think my parents ate them or maybe they sold them. One of my chic was name dubidubi. to bad it got smashed by someone swimming as it walked by. :sad:
